My name is Catalin Cosoi and I am a PhD student at "Politehnica" University from Bucharest (Romania), faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science. Right now I'm working for BitDefender, as a researcher in the AntiSpam laboratory (trying to find new ways to fight spam) and I am also the head of the Online Threats Lab, but also very passionate about neural networks, brain models, pattern recognition and pattern extraction technologies, mathematics of neural systems (you can find the rest in the resume) and recently natural language processing techniques for my PhD thesis.

You won't find much content on this page. It's sole purpose is to create a connection between a "short" resume, a rarely visited blog, and a link to the custom research page :), which is in fact, one of the most important reasons this page is here.
